As CFXWorks' CEO, Al Nickles is responsible for the design and implementation of most of our offerings. Al spent twenty-five years with IBM where he invented several products and managed the startup of two IBM software development laboratories. He was well known within the IBM community as the inventor of IBM's MQSeries for which he wrote the original specification, patent application and prototype. He also managed the startup of the IBM lab that developed this technology. Al has authored several patents since exiting IBM in 1992 including U.S. Patent Number 6,134,591, which is of interest to organizations developing or deploying middleware and security solutions.
