Free Software Upgrade Available

CFXWorks is currently offering a free software upgrade to organization currently using code authored to process payment card transactions using Elavon, formally NOVA Information Systems, as your processor. This code was for use on iSeries systems and was authored as well as certified to the Elavon network in the 2006-2007 timeframe. CFXWorks has renamed our original offering from CFXNova AS/400^TM to NovaXpress^TM 400.

• To align product features with the requirements of the PCI-DSS and PA-DSS standards governing cardholder data security standards and requirements.
• To add several new features requested by our user community.
• To add new features that, potentially, allow some merchants to lower their processing fees.
• To recertify our product to the Elavon network.

New Features Added to NovaXpress 400

Based on the opinions expressed by three Qualified Security Assessors, CFXWorks believes that the code we authored in 2006-2007 is not PCI DSS or PA DSS compliant based on the new standards released 10/01/2008. It is also apparent that this code would not pass Elavon's new certification requirements. Therefore, CFXWorks decided to:

• Rewrite or modify our original code.
• Complete 3rd party security testing, including a review of our source code as required by PCI-DSS.
• Recertify our code to the Elavon network.

The rewrite and modifications to our new code is now complete and Trustwave® has finished the necessary 3rd party security testing and review of our source code. Elavon has also recertified our new NovaXpress 400^TM offering. CFXWorks is offering NovaXpress 400 as a "No Charge" upgrade to our original code as outlined in this notice. CFXWorks does not intend to update or recertify our original code. This upgrade will only be available directly from CFXWorks!

Due to the cost of maintaining Elavon certifications and maintaining consistency with the payment card standards, CFXWorks is implementing the following policies relative to pricing of our NovaXpress 400 offering:

1. Your merchant account(s) must be registered with Elavon under the CFXWorks' Vender ID MA130017 to receive this software and support.
2. Annual fee for maintenance and support for NovaXpress 400 ™ deployed on Windows or Linux (SUSE) $995.
3. Annual fee for maintenance and support for NovaXpress 400 ™ deployed on iSeries V6R1 $1995.
4. Support includes required updates available from CFXWorks related to changes required by PCI-DSS and Elavon certification.
5. Prices include support for up to 10 merchant accounts or terminal IDs.

If you purchased the CFXWorks offering from a vendor who embedded our code in their offering, you may require their assistance in replacing our original code with the newly certified code. It is the vendor's responsibility to make any changes to their code necessary to integrate it with our new offering. CFXWorks does not intend to validate our code in any environment other than that specifically addressed in our NovaXpress 400 product manual. As well, CFXWorks support will not cover any environment other than that specifically addressed in our NovaXpress 400 product manual.

• Both Lou Pergament and Jeremy Krahl are extremely knowledgeable. Ask them if the above upgrades are necessary, when they must be complete, and what the impact on your organization would be if your organization does not upgrade.



• Talk to Lou Pergament or Jeremy Krahl about making the required registration changes to your merchant account. Please remember, your merchant account must be registered with Elavon under the CFXWorks' Vender ID MA130017 to receive this software and support. Don't forget to ask them how these changes will impact your fee structure.



• NovaXpress 400 is available on the ComponentSource website. ComponentSource already markets several of our offerings.



• You may also want to look at our CreditCardXpress® offering being sold through IBM's Smart Market web site. If you are thinking of moving away from the iSeries to Linux or Windows this offering may be worth consideration.



• Also watch for NovaXpress 400 to be marketed with discounted pricing by IBM from their Smart Market website.
